I used to make grape vine wreaths with silk flowers, etc. The best way I found to clean them (and it's cheap) is to put the decoration in a big plastic bag--a lawn and garden bag works great for a big wreath--and pour in a liberal dose of table salt. Then shake, shake, shake! Make sure the whole wreath makes contact with the dry salt. Then open the bag and gently shake the salt off the wreath as you remove it from the bag. It will come out dusted and fresh.

You could try using compressed air (like for cleaning computer keyboards) - take the decoration outside and use short bursts of the air to blow the dust off.

Or you could put them in the bathtub and gently swish them back and forth in lukewarm water with a little detergent. If they are plastic instead of silk, you can be more vigorous about scrubbing them down.
