I am looking for suggestions for cleaning products that will stop my tile floors from being slippery and oily like. I live in a HUD apartment and have fallen so many times. I now have a cracked left hip. What can I use? Better yet what can we clean it with?

Use a grease fighting dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse well.
Ceramic Tile is notoriously slippery. Nothing will make it less slippery, especially when it gets wet.
There are throw rugs with rubber backing that do not shift, although depending on your situation those can also create tripping hazards. Ask your doctor if you can get a home health assessment, which may be covered under your health insurance and ask them for safe alternatives.
One may be to talk to the landlord and ask to have bamboo or other safer flooring installed, if that was a medical recommendation.
Post back what you learn! Prayers.
This is a problem because some tile when wet or cleaned will become very slippery. Normally in homes these days they install nonslippery tile to prevent people from falling. You may need to get some area rugs and put a backing or tape on them to keep them in place so they will not slip and slide when you walk on them.
