I used Car Wash, purchased from Walmart, to clean the gutters, vinyl siding, heat and air conditioner and the awnings. It cut the dirt quickly and left a nice finish. I really like this product.

When you used the carwash cleaner did it leave a wax coating on the vinyl.
Not that I could tell. I looked on the bottle and it does not give the ingredients.
It just says it "is a concentrated super-sudsing shampoo especially formulated to polish and shine as it cleans. The non-abrasive formula is free rinsing, leaving no spots or streaks".
I felt if it was gentle enough to clean a car, it would be good for the siding.
