Perhaps this is a silly question, but I was wondering what are some ways to clean a toothbrush specifically used for general cleaning chores?

I never thought about that but here are good tips that I think are credible:
- Soak your toothbrush in antibacterial mouthwash
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Boiling water

Seems like whatever you are cleaning with might be a good cleaner if you just use boiling water but if more is needed then any of your spray spot removers, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, any good mouth wash, or just plain dish soap with a final soak in a cup of hot water.
I use soap and water.
After rinsing off , I put in my dishwasher where the silverware goes separately.
I use boiling water and a bit of dishsoap.
I would dip it in vinegar at the same time you disinfect it after I would put it in the dishwasher
Why not just throw it away? I have accumulated many more old toothbrushes than I need since I change them every few months. So I just throw them in the re-cycle when I am finished with the cleaning job.
