I am now using Truvia, which is twice as sweet as sugar. I only need half a packet at a time. I keep the packet closed with a clothespin until I need the rest of it.

Great idea! Glue a magnet to the back and you can keep in on the fridge to remind yourself you need to finish it.
Would also work for those little packets of fresh flower food / powder. Thanks a bunch!
They're very useful for holding netting in the garden.
