I have discovered the best kept secret for eliminating underarm odor. It is organic virgin coconut oil. I cook with it as well because it is very nutritious. I have always needed a strong anti-perspirant, but no more. And coconut oil doesn't stain your clothing. I am amazed. It is also anti-fungal, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. I order mine online because it is much cheaper that way.

I recently started using a homemade one as well and am amazed at how well it works. Mine uses coconut oil as a base, but also has a bit of baking soda, arrowroot, and a few drops of essential oil (optional of course). I found the recipe online by googling it but can't remember where. Basically you mix all the ingredients together with a rubber spatula or similar, and put it in a jar of some kind. Makes it more like a cream deodorant, without all the chemicals. I keep a tiny cosmetics spatula (purchased from a Sally Beauty Supply) in the jar so I won't have to dig in with my finger and get it under my nails.
The best price I have found ever on coconut oil, was a huge jar of it, at a local international store, for under $20! If you have one nearby it is worth a look-the first jar I had was maybe 8 or 10 ounces and I got it at a health store...
Thank you will try the same too
I tried coconut after my shower last night. By mid morning I was rushing back to the shower. The coconut oil did not work for me. Thank goodness I experimented when I was home.
