I'm just wondering how do I receive child support for my son and my daughter whose father passed right before Christmas? I don't think he had any estates or a will or none of that. I do have a ongoing child support case I just need to know what's the next step?

Since you already are involved in a child support case you should contact this agency immediately so they can file for back payment and child support benefits.
You may also want to go to your Social Security office and provide evidence that the father is deceased and file a case to receive back support payments and future benefits.
You should take all SS numbers, the father's death certificate, and information about the support case you have working.
SS will be able to tell you if the father had sufficient income record for your children to receive benefits and also how much the benefit will be.
