How and when did you get your pet?
This little love bug was dumped in front of the local dollar store. Through a horrendous rain storm, he stayed hoping someone would come back. For 3 days the ladies at the store and the store next door, fed him, let him inside the tiny store, and put him on social media, hoping he was just lost. On the 4th day, I came out of the store and he was sitting there like "Can you take me home now?". So I did.
After 2 weeks, with no response, I knew he was mine. Chipped, but without any registration, it was almost 300.00 to get all his shots, flea meds, etc. and then we had to go through the paperwork of getting him legal for my fussy landlords.
He was worth every single penny.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
I have a stroller for him, and every morning we go to our pond and feed the fish. Then we get the mail, walk around, and sometimes sit out on the back patio and read, while he talks to the birds and squirrels. But the best thing is morning and night, when I reach down for him, he reaches up for a "baby time" walk around. He sits on my chest and shoulder, always my left, and I pet and pat him and listen to his purr. We walk around opening the doors and turning off the porch lights, etc. It's the first thing we do in the morning and the last thing we do at night.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Connor isn't much of a player, but when he finds the "bungee cord" playthings tied to the door knobs, he goes nuts! He is also my hero spider eater!!

I recently got a mirror, and he discovered there is a twin in the house!!
He is a beautiful cat and sounds like a wonderful buddy. May you have many many happy days.
Oh, that is so sweet! He is my purrrr-fect little man.
Love bugs can sometimes be found in the strangest places - or should I say love bugs can find us in the strangest places.
Lovely story and so nice to have such a devoted companion.
I agree. He literally was standing outside the door of the dollar tree like he was waiting for me! I initially brought him home to find his owners. But they sure do grow on us, don't they?
