McCormick's discontinued my husband's favorite seasoning. Does anyone have a copycat recipe?

I cant find the recipe. I would suggest that you look on the label for some clues to the ingredients. I would guess some cayenne is one of the ingredients
When you find that an item (especially from McCormick) is difficult to find you can usually bet that it has been discontinued. This Grill Mate has been discontinued for almost a year.
I don't see any at the moment, but I have purchased many discontinued products on eBay. That doesn't help in the immediate, but it can be a good source for the item going forward.
Always be aware of the seller feedback and stay away from those with less than 99% feedback--ideally, only buy from someone with 100% but that sometimes is a challenge.
Ask about expiration dates if they aren't in the ad.
Two last suggestions
1. call the company and complain. I do this frequently--very politely of course--and they sometimes offer free coupons for their other products--which is a small consolation--but it tells them that their items are still in demand. Their contact info is www.mccormick.com/
2. put that ingredient list into google and see what comes up...there may be a similar product on the market.
I so hate when companies do this....
Amazon still has it . . . couldn't find a copycat recipe yet
