If you've thought about getting a cordless trimmer but have hesitated because of the cost or because you already have a gas powered trimmer, read on and make the plunge. You'll never go back.
I have a large yard and a lot of things to trim around. Usually, it takes me upwards of 45 minutes to trim everything. I'm not mentioning the brand here but think professional grade.
I had really bad luck with budget brands and ended up giving them away. I did some research and bought a top of the line brand, 2 cycle, outfitted it with a slick trimmer line head that takes all of 2 seconds to install new lines.
It was great until I started getting sore lugging it around for that long with all that noise. i ended up getting a cordless trimmer, same brand, with snap in heads and a 40 minute battery and I'll never go back.
It's worth the money ($200 to $300) to get a good/great brand cordless trimmer that's light (this one is soooo light), has a good battery life (to match your needs), and is quiet. No more headset on a hot day. Now I'm not sore afterward and I get done quicker because it's so much easier to do. And my ears aren't ringing. Your neighbors will appreciate it too.

My husband has a cordless trimmer and loves it. You just have to remember to plug in the battery! We recently got an cordless electric mower too and it is so much quieter and easier to use than our old gas one.
Yes! We have a cordless trimmer and lawn mower. :) It is really efficient, you don't need an extension cord, lighter & easier for my husband.
