Don't throw away the silk from corn or the stems from cherries. Lay them out to dry and keep them in containers. These items have amazing anti-inflammatory and diuretic benefits that help with ailments like kidney stones, gout, rheumatism, and blood pressure. I come from a very long line of kidney stone sufferers and I've grown up running to these for help since I was a teenager. Just grab a pinch of either, steep in boiling water for a few minutes, strain and drink.
