Does any one have any ideas or crafts using pillowcases?

Some people make little girls dresses out of pillowcases, google for directions. You could cut into squares and make a patchwork quilt top. You could also make stuffed animals, that if you don't have anybody to give the animals to, they could be donated to a children's home or hospital.
I make grocery store tote bags out of them. All you do is cut off about 6 inches of the bottom, the part that is not open. Sew the bottom end shut and make handles from the cut off part.
If it has embroidery or fancy work of any kind, try making a pillowcase doll. Google for ways and means.
I try to buy pillowcases in either white or cream to avoid mismatches, lol, but when the pillowcases start to look 'tired', I use a recycled zipper and make a pillow cover to go under the pillowcase. If yours are strongly coloured you may not be able to do that.
How about using the pillowcases to make table napkins?
