Crafting with Silverware?

I once tried to drill through silverware and could not do it. Is there a trick to it?

I have heard that you need a special type of drill bit.

We use drill bits for metal drilling....use slow speed...we use a handdrill

You can use cobalt drill bits but go slow and use oil
