I used this Craftsman LT2000 just 2 days ago. It ran good, but I had enough of the "no mow in reverse" BS so I did some research and found you can just unplug the connector, so I did and the mower hasn't run since. It turns over well, is getting gas, the is fuse good, it just won't start. What am I missing? Oh, I plugged the connector back in and there is no difference.

Is there a spark coming from the spark plug?
When you try to start it, does it smell like burning rubber?
Also, is there a neutral setting? if here is, does the mower roll forward?
You might need to change the air filter and clean the carburetor. Here is a short video from YouTube: www.youtube.com/
problem fixed, it was the solenoid on the bottom of the carb float bowl, was not working, stuck or whatever. I took it out and ran wires from batt.
