Craftsman YS4500 Riding Mower Won't Start?

I was mowing and stopped to pick up some sticks, when I got back on and tried to restart the mower there was nothing, no sound of turn over, nothing. I took the battery in and they said it needed to be replaced, so I bought one and put it in, still nothing! What do I do?
