Teach your kids with simple crafts even using their old crayons. What I like most about this craft is that the materials are easy to find and for me it's refreshing to the mind.
Supplies:
- different colors of crayons
- 1 black crayon
- piece of paper
- any pointy material such as skewer or pen without ink
- cotton or cloth
- Note: Please provide a scratch paper to line your work so colors won't stain your work table.
Steps:
- Put layers of different colors on a piece of paper.
- Rub the whole thing with cotton or a piece of cloth. This is done to spread the colors at least almost evenly on your paper.
- As you can see the colors spread and the surface of the paper is smoother.
- Now, start rubbing a thick layer of black crayon over the layer of colors. Cover the whole page with black.
- Using a pointy object, start carving or drawing over the black layer.
- Done. You'll see the effects as you finish your preferred design.
