The Velveeta cheese in this recipe makes it extra good!
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 lb. frozen broccoli
- 1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1/4 lb. butter
- dash pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 quart milk
- 8 oz. Velveeta cheese
Directions:
- Bring to a boil chicken broth, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Add finely chopped onion and broccoli; simmer 10 minutes.
- Mix flour and cold water until flour is dissolved. Add to boiling water. Stir until it returns to a slow boil.
- Add milk until desired thickness.
- Do not allow to boil after milk has been added.
