I've been reading through these recipes. Some of them sound quite interesting. I want to try several of them. The addition of ingredients such as cheddar cheese, mushroom or celery soup or french fried onions sounds yummy.
As with liver and oysters, I will not eat green peas. I'm thinking about getting some frozen sugar snap peas, cutting them in small pieces on the diagonal and adding them to the casserole. I think that would make for a nice change. Has anybody tried this?
This looks so good to me, but I cannot eat dairy. I use lactose free milk and lactose free cheese, but I cant eat the cream of mushroom soup. I wish there was a recipe like this I can make lactose free.
