Create a Humid Environment for Plants

A makeshift terrarium made from two clear plastic containers, with a plant inside.Place two same sized containers together with plant inside to increase humidity for tropical plants. This is a thrifty method instead of buying a humidifier. Also works for plants that you may purchase online and came from the mail - to help the plants adjust and recover from the transport!

Be careful not to suffocate the plants! They NEED CO2, exactly like you need oxygen. That is why all the tomato greenhouses have big propane or natural gas burners in them, to create the necessary CO2.
Allow some air exchange and let the plants take care of humidity. If there is a bit of water showing in the saucer under the pot, then they have enough.
Have FUN!

This was done for 1.5 weeks to help the plants adjust and recover from the transport as I bought these plants online. Not permanently!!
