Silver Post Medal for All Time! 293 Posts My daughter saw a knitting pattern online awhile ago for little bunnies. They were just adorable, but I can't knit! So this is what I came up with in crochet. Very easy, and what munchkin wouldn't love a little boxful of bunny nuggets in all different colors?
Total Time: Hour or less
Yield: 1 little nugget:)
Source: On-line photo
Supplies:
- "h" crochet hook
- tiny amounts #4 worsted weight yarn
- scissors
- embroidery needle for weaving in ends
- google eyes
- flatback gem
- pom pom
- glue gun
Steps:
- Ch 6.
- Sc in 2nd ch from hk and each until last, 3 sc in last. Turn ch, work 1 sc in each ch on opposing side, work 2 sc in the last space, join with a slip st to your first sc, giving you 3 sc total there.
- Ch 1, work 1 sc in same space as ch and each stitch around, join with a slip stitch to your first sc.
- Repeat last step 6 times more.
- Slip st to the left once, ch 1, turn, sc in same space as ch and next.
- Ch 1, turn. Sc in same stitch as ch and next.
- Repeat last step 3 times more.
- Ch 1, turn, decrease. Fasten off and weave in end.
- Attach yarn 2 spaces from the left of your other ear. Sc in same stitch and next.
- Ch 1, turn. Sc in same space as ch and next.
- Repeat last step 3 times more.
- Ch 1, turn, decrease. Fasten off and weave in end. Stuff you bunny body.:)
- Attach yarn with a slip stitch in the front right corner of your bunny. Leave a long tail and cut. You will use this tail to whipstitch the top shut.
- Weave in ends. See?
- Glue your google eyes, gem, and pom pom in place. Maybe even add a little yarn bow to one of the ears.
- Remember to give her lots of love!:)
