Crock potting is my new dinner idea for the past year and I would enjoy any crock pot recipes for dinner, breakfast, dessert, and lunch. So far I have found success cooking beef stew, pot roast, lasagna, chili, and a taco macaroni recipe (my kids helped me create with the thought of trying to make a knockoff version of Hamburger Helper using penne noodles). It is great for my busy schedule. Any ideas?

I have cookbook that is all crock pot recipes. It is called "Fix it and Forget it." You can also find all kinds of crock pot recipes on line. There are also directions for doing a turkey breast in crock pots, which I do every now and then. Our favorite is when I rub Cajun seasoning on it, however, I have fixed it in other ways too.
It's just my hubby and me at home now and this is one of our favorite recipes that I came up with myself.
Pour 1/2 can of 'Cream of Chicken' soup in bottom of pot.
Let cook for 6 - 7 hours on low, or 3 -4 hours on high.
The chicken comes out very tender...you won't need a knife to cut it.
And, the best part is that the soup makes a great gravy for mashed
potatoes to go with the chicken!
A good recipe for pork chops or cubed steak:
Put 1/2 can mushroom soup in pot.
Place the meat on top of the soup.
Season the meat if you wish (I use garlic pepper)
Pour rest of the soup over the meat.
Cook on low for 6 - 7 hours, or high 3 - 4 hours.
Very Good!
