I have light gray walls and white trim. When we moved into our condo the lady left these nice cream curtains, so we kept them. They're not that wide across so I added a white filler. I'm not 100% convinced that these colors all work together, am I right?

I wouldn't say the window treatment is all that exciting, but because such a large area is involved, I think you're doing the right thing by keeping it simple.
You could also download a free program such as Gimp and play around with different colors to help you decide.
