I would like to know what color curtains to hang in a living room with gold colored paint on the walls. My furniture is chocolate brown leather. I also have a lovely accent piece and I really want to incorporate this into my color scheme. Thank you.

You might find a print with that turquoise colour mixed in with white, gold, and dark brown. However, I do not like patterns myself in a living room, so I would go with a drape that was either white, like the shelving wall, or gold, the colour of your other walls. I think drapes should be a background to the room, and I think that rooms look larger and more sophisticated with solid colour drapes, but that is just my opinion. If you wish to have more of that accent colour, I would look for throw pillows or an afghan rather than incorporating it into the curtain colour.
