I want to paint my living room, zigzag lines in yellow for one wall and the other three walls a middle grey, not too light but not too dark. Two of my walls have windows, both of those walls I want to paint grey. So what color curtains can I put?

I would go with a grey that matches the walls, or is lighter. I think if you have yellow zigzags going on, you have enough action and colour.
Gray curtains and maybe zigzag gray/yellow valance you could make yourself or have made to break up all the solid gray. The zigzag pattern is a bold statement, so I wouldn't add too much more than that unless it is a toss pillow on sofa in that pattern and the rest gray and yellow solid colors.
