To give some color and light to the room, I would consider using two colors for your curtains. This can brighten up the room.
- A nice coco brown panel on the two sides of the window with a light tan or cream color in the middle. This adds a nice look to the room. This would be a two color curtain and looks very nice in your home.
- Burnt orange or a rusty color would also make the floor and the furniture stand out. This can also add a little color to your room.
- A blue or turquoise color adds color to a room and can brighten it up.
- Many people who have dark floors and furniture with beige walls choose an egg shell, beige, or cream color curtains for their room.
- This will depend on you and if you would like to add a bit of bright color to your room. Lime green or a green shade would also work well in a room with these colors.

I'd go with gold and teal for a nice contrast pop

You have a lot of "browns" so maybe some other colors would brighten up the room.
- Large windows? Maybe some burnt orange, beige/tan stripe curtains and even another color added would give more distinction to the room.
- You can always add accent pillows in stripe or mixed colors.
- Maybe an accent rug would also help with brightening up the room.
- If there is more than one window then you might want to have a different color just to bring more attention to the windows and away from any dark floor or furniture.
- Maybe some abstract pictures in orange, blues, greens would help also.
You must like your browns so maybe stick with this scheme and just add accent items to brighten the room.

I would go with a bright color to brighten the room up. Green, blue, maybe fuschia would look nice and add a pop of color.

My favorite pop of color against brown would be teal or lavender.
