Curtain and Accessory Color Advice?

I'm having a hard time decorating my living room. I'm in love with the blue color, I have grey couches and white walls. If I put dark blue curtains will it match? Is it going to look too dark? Do I need to put some colors on the couch by adding more pillows?

You and I are going through the same thing right now. I love the blue also and I love grey. What I have found is there are a lot of colors that go together that I would of never thought of. You can get some ideas by using a color scheme generator. They are free and i found a simple one to use just by doing a google search. Basically you pick one or two colors you like and it will generate three or four more that compliment or contrast those colors to make a color scheme. If you dont like one of the colors they give you, you can get rid of it and choose again. Personally I am using dark blue for the two outer panels for curtains then I am going to get some very pale light lime green sheer curtains to go in between the blue ones.

The overall color scheme I am working with is Navy blue, light lime green, burnt orange, and grey. I know it all sounds weird but they all actually look really good. You can also go on pintrest and type in a couple colors you like say Navy blue and grey color schemes since that is what you have and it will give you pictures of how different rooms look with those colors. Best of luck with whatever you choose, i know it can be overwhelming sometimes! I will leave a link to the color scheme generator that I found. coolors.co/f79256-4e6766-5ab1bb-fbd1a2-7dcfb6

Dark blue curtains would be fine, but it depends on how is your sunlight.

If you get a lot of sunlight, I think the dark blue curtains would be fine and the light accents maybe pillows or some decor and lighten the room.

But if you don't get a lot of sunlight, I would go for a lighter blue color curtain.

Dark blue curtains with a white shade or blind underneath will look nice.

A dark blue curtain with a white blind, shade or sheer white panel underneath would be lovely.

Dark blue curtains will block a lot of light. And How about adding a pop of color like a bright yellow or green or a deep corAl. Maybe pick a color out of a piece of art?
