I have a beige couch, dark green chair, and the walls are a green/straw colour. What colour curtains and cushions would work with it?

Burgundy curtains would look great. You could also use green curtains and cushions that complement your wall color and green chair.
I would go with a pale yellow.
You have the same combo we do in the Living Room! We selected a deep purple sheer valence over a printed sheer with purple, green trim on a cream background. We got them a while back at JC Penny and they are lovely!! It gave the room a warm and yet fresh look! I still love it...which is unusual for me as I tire of decorating things quickly.
We rotate through different pillows--sometimes we have solid purple, sometimes a printed pillow that has purples, creams and greens in them, and sometimes we have a tan on tan gingham (like a dark tan and a light tan or straw).
I can try to take a picture of it if you want to see the drape pattern. I don't know if they still sell the pattern but they were very reasonable.
