Curtains, Carpet, and Furniture Color Advice?

I have a beige colored wall with white molding and a black rod. My bed is a cream color, my nightstand is white, and my floor is dark brown. What colors can I add if I'm aiming for a style like this picture? I feel like the floor throws me off so I'm not sure if I should get dark brown curtains to balance out the whiteness.
