An easy recipe for Easter parties or home. Simply bake a boxed cupcake recipe and decorate as follows.
Ingredients:
- boxed cake made into cupcakes, or make your own
- jelly beans
- mini or regular sized marshmallows
- licorice or chow mein noodles
- dot candy sprinkles
- Optional: coconut
Steps:
- After baking cupcakes and letting them cool, add your own frosting. I sprinkled coconut on the vanilla frosting.

- I used a glass and rolled out some mini marshmallows to make them large and flat for the ears. If you have large marshmallows you could use them for larger ears instead.
- After rolling them out, I wet one side of each marshmallow and pressed them into a low dish with some round, multi colored candy sprinkles on them and placed them where bunnies ears should be.
- I used a knife and cut some jelly beans in half for the eyes and nose.
- My chocolate jimmies (the longer candy sprinkles) were too tricky to handle, so I just used a few chow mein noodles and stuck them into the bunny's cheeks for whiskers.
Simple but cute, I thought. Happy Easter everyone!
