Cutting Back on Hot Tub Chemicals?

I have a 250 gallon hot tub that I am trying to go pretty much chemical free. I am using a ozonator and mineral stick. I do the PH balance, but am confused as to what else I need to use. When I use a testing kit, it shows that I need chlorine and acid. Are there any household products that I can use instead of the chemicals? I also do not know how to figure the ratio of the products to my 250 gallon hot tub. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have read so many articles that it has completely confused me. Thank you.

I dont see how you are going to keep it clean without using chlorine

yes, I did read that you need chlorine, possibly just once a week depending on usage. However, I have been using non-cholorine after each use. Is that the same thing? Sorry to be so ignorant, but this is new to me. thank you
