Steps:
Wash your melon with a dot of soap and water, with wet paper towel so you don't drop it. No oops here! Set it aside.
Lay several paper towels down on counter, and put your cutting board on top. This will absorb the runoff juices.
Cut one end of melon off and set to the side.
Place rest of melon with flat surface horizontally on cutting board. Start shaving off the rind in slow, purposeful cuts. Toss the rind into the trash.
Take a left over plastic clamshell bottom, cutting off the top.

Lay the clamshell-bottom in your large container to hold your cut melon.
Slice and cut your melon into squares.
Use the flat of the blade to transfer to the large bowl, over the clamshell. This will hold your fruit up out of the juice, which makes it soft and mushy quicker.
Put all chunks into bowl. Toss rest of rinds.
Remove cutting board and put into sink. Gently lift up your juicy paper towels and wipe up rest of counter area. Toss and then wipe counter with soapy, clean rag to remove stickiness.

Put a lid on your melon chunks, refrigerate to later enjoy.
