DIY Bra Strap Hider

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 1 bra strap hider

Supplies:

• piece of hard plastic packaging
• pen
• craft knife
• nail file (optional)

Steps:

1. Start drawing an oval on your plastic packaging. I freehand drew an oval about 2.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches high. Draw another oval inside and draw two horizontal tabs on each side.

 

 
2. Move plastic to a hard surface where you can cut with a craft knife. It will cut through so don't do this directly on your tables or desks. Begin cutting out the shape you drew.

3. The middle will easily pop out.

 
4. Since you will be wearing this against your skin, it's good to file down the edges so they are soft.

 
5. Run your bra straps through and enjoy not showing the world your straps! ;)

With my arthritis in my shoulders, I can not reach behind to use this. Instead, I use a shoe string. I slide under my straps behind my head and tie in a bow.

Then I slide the string down toward the hooks. Just a simple tug on a loose end takes it off.

I do that when I work out! It doesn't always hide when I do that when I wear certain tops.
