Decorating Ideas For Living Room

I need ideas for re-decorating my living room, any suggestions? The windows are floor to ceiling and the fireplace is 2-sided in a corner. It's brick and has a mantle. I'd like to incorporate color into the room.

If the brick is dark color, consider painting it a sand or tan color, if not white. Update the walls with earthtones (today's earthtones include reds and blues). Slipcover the furniture and make sure nothing is pressed tight to its neighbor item, a roomy airflow feeling. (07/23/2008)
