This is a tiny little foyer which leads to the master bedroom. With the grey and yellow paint what can I do to make this area special? I wanted to hang a vintage wooden frame mirror on the grey wall and put a planter on the yellow one. Also I wanted to cover the electric box which is an eyesore. Any suggestions?

These are both excellent ideas. The mirror will open up the room. If you hang a fixture up, it will complete the foyer. You could also hang up a wooden initial, to go with the mirror.
You could get some foam to bring a pictore, or the aforementioned initial away from the wall to cover the box. They have inotials that have lights that you could paint. You could paint vertical grey stripes on the yellow wall by masking them off with painters paint...i would paint them 1/16th of an inch wide about 3 inches apart.
You didnt state the size of the mirror. If the mirror ilooks too small for the wall, you can make it feel more impactful by accenting it with a painted rectangle about 2 inches larger all around, and hang the mirror in the center. Or you can mount the mirror to framed plywood covered in an appealing fabric or a decoupaged poster. ( see picture ) It helps in mounting because you can mount into directly into the studs, and helps the mirror hang more securely.
If you choose you can buy half round planters for using on the wall.
As for the wires, home improvement stores sell small round covers, that can be painted and will hide the wires. ( often sold near ceiling fans )
Good luck with your decorating.
