After doing some extensive research I have found that if your dolls are retired meaning they don't make them anymore they could be worth anywhere from $25.00 and up. The sites that I researched were Etsy and eBay. You could also take them to your local antique appraisal store.
I have 2 dolls. Not exactly sure how to find out what they are worth. I do know that I've had them for at least 11yrs.

You don't say what city you are in mallormalcom39. Ebay and Etsy are the best places to sell them, but know you will not get that much. Price them based on matching your exact doll to an exact doll that has sold and set that price. Remember to correctly calculate the package height and weight and put that into ebay so it calculates shipping right. You have to pack dolls very, very carefully or they will get to the buyer in a million pieces. This means double wrapping all ceramic parts in bubble wrap and cardboard and the entire doll in bubble wrap and packed so that no part of the doll touches the box.
Better would be to sell on Facebook Marketplace or Nextdoor or the app Letgo and offer porch pick up and that the buyer pay you cash which they put somewhere secure on your porch.
Best would be to have a consignment store take them and sell them for you on a percentage/consignment basis. This way they are out of your house, no one has to come to your house and you will get something if they sell.
If they don't sell, you can donate for a tax credit if you wish. Good luck!

I read your reply and I have looked on Etsy, eBay and other sites for my Ashton Drake antique porcelain dolls. The problem that I'm having at this time, is that I see a doll that is exactly the same as mine with the same wrapping with all of its attachments. Yet their doll has an FA at the end of their registration number and mine has an M.
The value of dolls has diminished greatly in the past 10-15 years due to the fact they are so plentiful on the auction sites. What used to be considered as "rare" is now of no real value.
It is very difficult to find a doll that sells for more than 15 -35 dollars and even then, it may take weeks or months for one to sell.
Ashton Drake made a lot of each model of dolls and they were sold in almost all of the retail stores. This just means there are a lot of this type of doll on the market at any given time.
I hope you check eBay for more information.

Value is different than profit. If you are going to sell it online, you will pay fees to eBay (or ETSY) and paypal.
Facebook Marketplace, LetGo, NextDoor etc. are better venues, but you will probably get less than the 19.99 because the folks in these markets are bargain driven!

I also have (about 5 or 6) Ashton-Drake dolls of the same age I'd like to sell and am in the process of evaluating their worth. I usually find eBay to be a good source, but you need to look at what they are selling for... vs. what people are asking. (I think you need to be an ebay seller in order to select "SOLD" items as a filter).
Searching several different 'key words' can make a big difference. For example, sometimes these dolls are listed as 'Good Kruger' and not 'Ashton-Drake', so search both ways.
The best results actually come from searching Google, providing eBay listings that don't show up when searching directly within eBay (go figure!?). Lastly, searching Etsy and other sites will only give you the price people are asking for their dolls, which, believe me, differ greatly from the sale price that people are actually paying. Some of my dolls have old price stickers indicating $120-$180. People are trying to sell these dolls for close to that price, but the actual SOLD prices are MUCH, MUCH less.

I have found that you can go to ebay and look at completed auctions or what they sold for, first, for a market value. If you are looking for an insurance value, double that amount, or have them appraised with a hard copy by an appraiser.
If they are not presently selling, you can donate them and take them off of your taxes. Donations to people in nursing homes bring them a lot of enjoyment to those who appreciate their beauty. If you have dolls from nursery rhymes or children's stories, you might consider donating them to local elementary school libraries for display. Estate sales or craigslist are other possibilities.
Since they were mass produced, they probably won't go up in value for some years. Their ultimate value is in the enjoyment they bring the collector.
