Soak up the oil with newspaper, then rub lightly with mineral spirits. Finally clean gently with a mild detergent.
My cats knocked over my oil defuser on my wood table. I was away on vacation so it dried under my marble lamb and now I cannot remove my lamb as it wont enough budge! Please help!
It depends on the finish.... I would try what the above person said if it is polyurethaned... But if it's waxed, i would try a very fine steel wool (4.0) and a little furniture wax or tongue oil
I'm not sure you can actually remove it but you may be able to reduce the stain.
You might try one of the suggestions on these sites:

Sometimes peroxide will remove dark stains from wood if it is dark.
Mineral Spirits work!! I had a scented oil plug-in that was knocked over when I was gone for a trip. It spilled all over my paperwork and seeped into my Ikea desk (acrylic finish). So not only was the desk stained with ink, the oil formed an impenetrable layer above the ink.
