As a last resort, list the car as "free, as is". You would be surprised at how many teenagers would love it to work on. Also someone who has a car just like it might want it for parts.
Here in VA you can sell any car no matter what shape it is in for $200.00. They come and get it and haul it themselves.
Also any old trailers (homes) they will buy and come and pick up. We had a trailer moved to our property years ago for a workshop and we paid $800.00 to have it moved. So that in itself is a worthwhile thing to do. And you are also recycling at the same time. I love people who recycle. They are thinking ahead.
