I have girls' Cinderella style (white with gold trim) bedroom furniture made by Dixie Furniture Company in Lexington, NC, in the early 1970's and am trying to determine the value. The set includes a double poster bed with canopy; double dresser; chest of drawers; desk with chair and two nightstands. It is in excellent (brand new) condition.

In some parts of the country the white/gold trim Dixie furniture that is in the French Provincial style is still highly sought after and can fetch decent amounts in resale. There are three pieces sold (not sure if these are you exact pieces since there are no pix--but you can match):

They sold local pick up only in Florida, Texas and Colorado. The east coast (Fla to Maine) is probably where it sells the best--it is often called "cottage style" and people buy this up for their beach homes. I was surprised to see Texas and Colorado in the mix!
Depending on where you are, you may fetch several thousand dollars for the entire set if you can find someone to buy it all.
Often times the set must be broken up to sell and that is hard because it takes time.
You would be best served by having a place that can sell it for you (if you want it out of your house and if you don't want people coming to your house to look).
You will fetch less in the long run (with their commission) but it is a no muss/no fuss way to sell.
Post back with how your sale goes!
Thanks for asking!
It would be very difficult to offer any information on your set without pictures as there were several different styles of this young girl's bedroom set. All pieces were entirely different than 'adult' furniture in the same style.
You may have to break up the set and try selling in individual pieces - maybe the two night stands together.
You can try looking on Google, eBay, Etsy for these individual pieces to see what sellers are asking for each. At least their asking prices would give you a place to start. Only an identical sold item would tell you 'current value' and sold items are difficult to find.
All furniture pieces are slow selling items right now so you may have to keep your items listed for several months.
After you do some searching for your pieces on these all sites, you might want to list them on several sites like Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo, Facebook Marketplace. You can start your prices high (according to what similar pieces you've found listed) and have 'best offer considered' along with local pick available. Leave pieces listed for several weeks/months and if no offers then lower the price and wait again.
It appears to be valuable. Pretty too! :-)

The best way to get the value is to contact Dixie Furniture . They made the furniture and could tell you what it cost many years and the present value , which is collectable . Online a single piece is selling for in the $100's - https://www.dixiefurniture.com - also this link can help- https://www.justanswer.com
This sounds like a nice bedroom set that would be perfect for young girls. I am not sure where you live and what the resale value of used furniture in your area is. Looking online to see what others have paid for the same pieces is the first place to start. This gives you an idea of the value of the piece. Now after you have this you need to check in your local paper or even on Craigslist in your area to see what people are asking for used furniture in your area. A lot of resale shops can also help to determine the price of furniture in your area.
