My friend's dog recently died and we are not sure why. On Tuesday morning he was fine, but when they came home he sadly was not. He was is perfectly good condition; he was healthy. The dogs name was Rugar. He lived with his little sister and 3 Pomeranians. He had no wounds or anything. If you have any ideas what happened please let me know.

Sometimes dogs appear healthy and have an undiagnosed condition. There is no way for anyone here to know. You could do an autopsy, but that can get expensive
Prayers for Rugar's and his family and friends. So sad. We lost one dog to a massive stroke. It can happen very suddenly.
Sadly, like people, young and old, they can pass without anyone having a cause.
Your friend could talk to the vet to see if there was anything in the pups; history or breed that may be the possible culprit.
Sadly you may never know. May the pup's memory always be a blessing. If your friend needs help, please suggest grief counseling. I know our animal shelter offers such services and they are almost always free.
Prayers and blessings to all!!
Just like people dogs can have serious medical conditions that dont show on the outside. A sudden death is always such a shock and so sad. It is human nature to try and make some sense out of it. Heart conditions are often hidden, as well as stroke.
