My puppy was just spayed on 7th Jan 2020 and up until today she had only eaten a small portion of food compared to her regular portion. She's active and would go explore as usual, but we still constrain her movements since she's still fresh from spaying. Is it normal for her to eat food in small portions? She drinks water as usual.

Yes this is completely normal and if the stitches are still in this could be one reason the dog has been eating less. Hold off a few days and when she goes back to the vet to have the stitiches removed you can talk with him. Just keep checking on her and make sure the stitches are clean and you don't have any swelling or other issues. If you see redness around the area take her back into the vet to have it checked out.
Check with your vet, but hopefully this is normal.
When my gal was spayed she was eating normally the next day. The vet gave very detailed directions for first day post op and then told me what could happen days 2-7 and how to handle each situation. Also when to call for immediate help or take her to the emergency hospital, but that was primarily around the incision having issues or her not being responsive.
Dogs are like people and heal at their own rate, but the vet is the one who should guide you to what he/she thinks is normal or not.
Post back with an update! Prayers for healing for your sweet pup!!
