I love these poop bags. I made a bunch but the first one I used split away from the grommet. I used cotton material (fat quarters). Any suggestions on how to avoid this? Thanks in advance.
I had the same problem! I am making another one today, I have used fusible interfacing on the side the grommet is on, hopefully it helps!
I'm going to try 2 layers of cotton with interfacing in the middle...
You really have to smash it. My husband uses a mallet. You could always uses a heavier material.
great pattern I used dog print flannel and put a zipper in the back, it was perfect!!!

It looks like they are 1" curtain grommets.
How big is the final product? Im making something similar with thick fabric that doesnt need to be doubled. Thanks!
