check online for a local chapter of Project Linus. They make blankets and afghans for children in hospitals, disasters, children who have lost parents in the war, etc. The ladies in our chapter make beautiful quilts and the group accepts donated fabric or yarn, it would be put to good use. Just do a search for Project Linus
we are a NPO out of state but have family instate who can pick up the fabric for us
Do you still have them? My sister is working with a women's and children's shelter in Jenkins, Kentucky. The men have been out of work for a long time. The center director is collecting material and any other sewing tools. etc so that she can teach the women how to sew clothes for their children.
