Do you use curbside pick up at Target? If you do, double check to make sure your bag fees are correct. Surprisingly my last 3 orders, I was charged the full $1.00 when I only received 1 bag each.
In California, we are charged $1.00 (that is for up to 10 bags). The bag fee is suppose to be adjusted later to how many bags actually used but that isn't the case, as you can see on my receipt.
If you have this issue, kindly chat with Target and let them know the affected order numbers and they'll gladly refund you.
For my order of 5 items, I received 1 bag therefore I was partially refunded $0.90 cents. This happened 3x = I received $2.70 back.

In North Carolina, where we live, we are not charged for the plastic bags but that may change in the future. I'm thinking that if we are charged I will just let them put the majority of my groceries in the cart and I will transfer them to a clothes basket when I get to my car.
Yes, that should work. I do that in Oregon, where they charge for bags.
Yes, you let the pick up person know you don't want any bags.
You have an option on the app to select where you would like your pick items to go too when you pick up (back seat left, back seat right, trunk).
