Since this product is made in the UK it would not be a good idea for someone in the US to give an opinion on the controllers being compatible as different countries have different requirements for electrical use items.
This is the best site to try and contact the company as it is also their sales site and you should receive a response within a few days.
They may wish to know if there is a problem with the controller of one of the items..
You should have your model number of each item as I do not believe they will have very much to say if the blanket or the throw happens to be one of their "outdated" models (they do not seem to make the old and new models compatible).
It looks like the email form is easy to complete.
If your item has any warranty, you will immediately invalidate it by using a non authorized product.
If it is not under warranty, I strongly recommend asking the company as anything with electricity that is not authorized is risk for shorting out the item or G-d forbid, causing a fire. And that it is for your bed is very scary so SAFETY FIRST PLEASE!!
