Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 118 Posts Since traveling to me was so exciting, I have this tip for using drinking straw as containers. They can be easily kept inside our traveling bags!
Supplies:
- drinking straws
- scissors
- candle
- Pentel pen
- pliers
Steps:
- Cut the straw into 3 sections.
- Use pliers to press the bottom of the straw together and heat with candlestick for sealing.
- Once the bottoms of the straws are sealed, you can now put shampoo, conditioner, or toothpaste in them. You can also put in some spices, like salt, pepper, etc.
- When you're done filling these straw containers, you can seal the tip of the straw and label it.

A small binder clip could make it reusable for storing medications in your pocket or purse for a Day trip.

I don't think this is very environmentally friendly.
