These two stackable containers come in handy for many things. Lately, I have been using them for watermelon. After seeing an old tip on ThriftyFun about using a saucer in a bowl for drainage, I put my thinking cap on to figure out what I could use to keep the watermelon from sitting in the juice. I pulled out four plastic lids and they fit perfectly. They are deep enough to keep the watermelon out of the juice which keeps it crisp and fresh. If needed, I can punch holes in them for more drainage. The containers are empty and it's time to cut another watermelon.
