There are ducks in my backyard and they come every year, but this year they laid eggs. She laid one yesterday and one today. But there's no nest and they're scattered everywhere. Did she abandon them? Should I move them?

She has not aonded the eggs and it normally takes several days for the duck to lay all the eggs before they sit on the eggs. Ducks can lay the eggs in the yard, then build their nest, and after move the eggs to the nest. You just need to sit and wait to see what happens. Normally it can take up to a week for the duck to lay all the eggs before they sit on the nest. If you want to move the eggs right now is a good time because you can still use them to eat or cook with.
