Fuzzball is 1 year old and a Dutch Rabbit We found our pet through a Dutch breeder on craigslist about 4 weeks ago. He loves to play with yellow shovels and makes lots of funny noises. My daughter loves it when he yawns after she picks him up (ever so gently of course!)
I remember vividly the memories I had at 5 years old with my first bunny and wanted to create the same wonderful memories with my 5 year old daughter Maddie. We surprised her coming home from vacation a few weeks ago and she carries that bunny around like its a baby. Fuzzball is wonderful with her and they have been inseparable every since he came into our home. We had to travel more than 300 miles last week and had to take the bunny with us! Thankfully our hosts were very understanding (grandparents of course!)
Let's talk about thrifty. I got the cage for free from a recycle group along with a water bottle and feeder. And, I use his "pellets" along with the shredded newspaper to fertilize our garden.
We are very excited about our new addition to family and Daddy even promised his little girl that we would get a female rabbit, uh oh. More bunnies to come, stay tuned!

Check out these photos.
I adopted Boo from a bunny rescue in February 2014. He loves running through cat tunnels and hopping around.
Rascal and Smokey are almost 4 years old. They are Dutch Rabbits. They were an Easter surprise for our sons from my husband. They enjoy chewing on and tearing up a box or paper.
Boo is a black cat about 3 years old and Buddie is a year old Dutch Rabbit. Boo we got from a friend and Buddie from a pet store.
