Recently I highlighted my hair. It went very badly, so I am thinking I would like to dye my hair again. Can I do that? And my hair highlights are a golden color.
Yes, you can do it again but try to be gentle on the parts you already highlighted as not to strip the strands. How did it go over badly? Once you redye, you might want a trim to revive your hair.
Yes, you can. Highlighted hair is often 'dyed' afterwards, but part of, the highlighting process.
When I was practicing, we did 'frostings.' We often applied color to the frosted hair to tone down reds and golds, which would have required further bleaching to eliminate, otherwise. Actually, applying color to the bleached hair is more gentle to the hair than further bleaching.
If you recolor your hair, do not expect to achieve an even color throughout.
Two days ago I box highlighted my hair. I hate it and I was wondering can I go back and turn it black? I have a natural dark brown hair color. I would say its pretty healthy normally.
Most of the time 2 weeks is required between colors to keep your hair healthy. If really unsure contact a professional because each situation is different!
If you have highlighted your hair just a few days ago it will strip the natural color in your hair. This can cause some damage to the hair if you try to dye it again so soon.
maybe you could put henna on it
this would allow you to grow it out for another 2 weeks where it is safe to dye again
