I went the hairdresser's yesterday to have my hair changed to blonde they bleached it, but it's lighter than I wanted. It's light grey and in places yellow. I was wondering is it safe to put a box dye on today to make the colour less bright and to make it all one colour?

It is recommended to wait at least two weeks before chemical treatments. Deep condition weekly.
If the hairdresser made an error with your hair it is their responsibility to fix it and make it right. I would actually go back there so that you don't damage your hair.
